The Challenger desk from Steel Products, located in Brooklin N.Y., dates back to the 1950s. We painstakingly sanded the original varnish to reveal the pig iron underneath, creating a beautiful matte industrial finish. The table top is original and, as was typical for that era, it has a wood-like appearance. However, upon request, we can add a layer of wood veneer and varnish to the board to suit your preferences. The table's design is sturdy and timeless, which are qualities we greatly admire in furniture from the United States during the 1950s. We have many other pieces available in our warehouse.
